Donghia - Bark Scatter Cushion

Though at first it may appear to be wild abstraction, this full-coverage embroidery took inspiration from the organic patterning of tree bark. Nine colors of gleaming viscose yarn are used to define each motif and create the overall design. A custom and thick accent yarn is then stitched by hand to enhance both dimension and texture. An artisanal masterwork.
