Reception, Gasholders, King’s Cross, London – Bespoke Luxury Furniture Project
Located within the iconic Gasholders development in King’s Cross, this project forms part of one of London’s most celebrated architectural transformations. The Gasholders comprise a collection of luxury apartments set within restored Grade II-listed cast-iron structures, originally built in the 19th century and now reimagined as a striking residential destination overlooking Regent’s Canal .
The development blends industrial heritage with contemporary design, combining historic engineering with modern materials and refined detailing. Communal spaces—including reception and lounge areas—play a key role in shaping the resident experience, offering a seamless transition between architecture, amenity, and everyday luxury living .
Working in collaboration with the appointed interior design team, we contributed to this project as a specialist interior designers resource, supplying a collection of bespoke luxury furniture tailored specifically for the reception and communal areas. While the overall design concept and spatial planning were led by the designers, our role focused on delivering high-quality, made-to-measure furniture that enhances and completes the final environment.
Each piece was expertly made in Britain, reflecting the craftsmanship, precision, and heritage associated with UK manufacturing. From bespoke seating and lounge furniture to integrated reception elements, every item was designed to complement the building’s unique circular geometry and material palette.
The interior aesthetic draws on the development’s industrial narrative—featuring a refined mix of metal finishes, natural materials, and warm tones that soften the architectural framework. Our bespoke furniture integrates seamlessly within this vision, adding comfort, texture, and understated elegance to the communal spaces.
This project demonstrates how luxury bespoke furniture can support and elevate high-end residential developments—providing interior designers with the flexibility, craftsmanship, and quality required to deliver cohesive and impactful shared environments.
