Why Interior Designers Specify Bespoke Furniture
Bespoke furniture allows the design team to control proportion, comfort, finish, upholstery, scale and visual balance. For high-end residential and hospitality schemes, this is often essential. Standard furniture can restrict a room layout, while made-to-order furniture can be designed around architectural details, circulation, lighting, views and the client’s preferred way of living.

Residential & Super-Prime
For private residences, penthouses, townhouses, country homes and luxury apartments, bespoke furniture helps deliver a more considered and cohesive interior. Pieces can be scaled for large reception rooms, compact city apartments, formal entertaining areas, family spaces and bedroom suites.
Hospitality & Development
For hotels, restaurants, members’ clubs, marketing suites and show apartments, furniture must balance comfort, durability, visual impact and brand positioning. Bespoke production allows finishes, fabrics and construction to be aligned with the project’s practical requirements.

COM, Finishes and Bespoke Detailing
Interior designers often require full control over the final finish. SG Luxury Design can work with selected fabrics, leathers and customer’s own material, as well as bespoke details such as contrast piping, buttoning, fluting, stitching, timber stains, metal finishes and proportion changes. This allows each piece to sit naturally within the wider design scheme rather than appearing as an off-the-shelf addition.
